Terms of Service

Effective 22 October 2026 · Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms are the rules for using Hardpoint, the browser strategy game at playhardpoint.com ("Hardpoint", "we", "us"). By playing, creating an account or joining a multiplayer match you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. Who can play

2. Your account

3. Fair play and conduct

You agree not to:

We may warn you, remove you from a match, suspend or delete your account, or block access if we reasonably believe you broke these rules or are putting the service or other players at risk.

4. Multiplayer

5. Your progress and saves

Your saves, statistics and achievements have no cash value. We try to keep them safe, but they can be lost, for example when you clear your browser's data without signing in, or if the service has a failure. Please do not treat them as a guaranteed record. We may change the game, including its rules, balance and features, at any time, and this can affect saves and progress.

6. Ownership and licence

7. The service is provided "as is"

Hardpoint is a free game provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will always work, be error-free, be secure, or be available at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost progress, data or profits, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the game is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and some places do not allow certain limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using Hardpoint at any time. We may change, suspend or end the game or any part of it, and we may end your access under section 3. Sections that by their nature should continue (ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability) survive.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the change matters, we will update the date above and, where reasonable, tell you in the game. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State in which the operator of Hardpoint is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that State have jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

12. Contact

Questions, reports of bugs or abuse, or account requests: contact@playhardpoint.com.
